Sulis is an Experience Design and Innovation Consultant with 20
years of experience in research, strategy, and design. She earned
her Bachelor degree specializing in design and a PhD in Human
Factors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She took
an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Sulis started her professional career as a UX designer at Dell
Singapore Design Center, and then Hewlett Packard Global Design
Studio. Upon returning to Indonesia in 2012, she started a
boutique consulting firm, Somia Customer Experience, focusing on
human-centered design, research and innovation, serving local and
international clients. Sulis is excited to apply innovations on
end-to-end customer touch points through different interaction
platforms, from physical products, digital, to spatial and service
experiences. Some of her work has received international awards,
one of which is IxDA Interaction Awards for Banking the Unbanked
segments, a project done for a state-owned bank in
Indonesia.
