Bharat is a Unilever Veteran who has crisscrossed 69 countries. He comes with 25 years of experience in Brand Management, Consumer Insights, Media Strategy, Brand Activation, Market Development and Integrated Brand Communications. He was the Regional Integrated Brand Communications and Market Development Director for Unilever’s Homecare category across Asia, Africa, Middle East and Turkey. He continues to be associated with Unilever in an external capacity.

He is the CEO of Connecting the Dots Marketing Consultancy and the Global Partner of Anecdote International, recognized as a world’s leader in the use of storytelling in business. He is an expert in designing and delivering brand experiences — and in what better way than to use stories. He conducts Storytelling for Leaders workshop where he helps leaders find their stories and teaches them how to tell it.

His friends call him a memory collector and a story teller. He seeks experiences and every journey is a story for him. Like many others he also takes selfies …but his selfies are different, because each picture tells a story that is deeply etched in Bharat’s memory. Each picture is an emotional experience for him.

Amidst all, Bharat has served as President of the International Advertising Association (IAA) Malaysian Chapter, was VP of the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), and was Board Member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) Malaysia. Bharat is currently on the Executive committee of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) & IAA Malaysia. He has also shared his pointed views and experience at key industry events.

Bharat who has a post-graduate qualification in Marketing, was also bestowed the Achievers & Leaders Award for Brand Leadership at the IALA Conference in Singapore and the Brand Leadership Award at the World Marketing Summit . He is also a NLP trainer certified by the American Board of NLP.

The Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) at the 30th AdAsia Congress held from 8 to 10 Nov 2017 in Bali gave him a Special Award for teaching and spreading the good influence of advertising and marketing across the region and for impacting 131 talents in 10 countries through the Fasttrack Program that he has been delivering since 2013.

Kua Theng Hong has worked in the consumer goods industry for over 20 years. He has held various positions in the past including the positions of Commercial Director, Marketing Manager, General Manager and Country Manager. With his extensive experience accumulated in Sales, Marketing and also partnering with retailers, today Kua helps organizations fortify their sales and marketing skill sets as well as improving their partnerships with their customers.

Kua works with many multinational and regional companies to improve their staff’s competences ranging from key account management skills, distributor management skills to selling and promoting skills. His clients include companies such as Beiersdorf (Nivea) personal care, Samsung consumer electronics, Glaxo SmithKline consumer goods, Kantar WorldPanel market research, Shiseido beauty care and Heineken beverage. Besides brand owners, he also train retailers such as Focus Point (optical chain), Caring (pharmacy chain) and Vinmart Plus (convenient stores).
Kua differentiates his training service through his ‘client obsession’ philosophy. He engages in interviews and field work with his clients prior to content development to ensure that his training materials are absolutely customized to his clients’ needs. In his training sessions, at least 50% of the time is allocated for group works, role plays and games because Kua believes that experiential learning is critical to enhance participants’ skills.

Kua is also a qualified Trainer in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) who uses proven techniques to resolve clients’ challenges at conscious and unconscious levels. He is one of the 15 NLP experts representing Malaysia that are qualified to certify NLP practitioners under the American Board of NLP. He is also a certified trainer for DiSC behavioral style. Equipped with a wide range of skills, he enhances and reinforces his training with positive psychology to help participants break through during training.

Jerry is the managing partner of Masima Contents & Channels, a holding company for Prambors, FeMale and Delta FM. With roots stretching back to 1967, the company is widely regarded as radio and content creator leader in Indonesia.
Jerry began his career in 1989 in US as Primavera system consultant. Then in 1997, he and his partners founded Asiagateway.com before selling it to an American firm, which made him named Swa Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year 1999. Currently he is the chairman for Association of Asia Pacific Advertising Media (AAPAM); a member of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce since 2010 as vice head for broadcast and creative industry.
Aside from his work, his ultimate passion is sharing his knowledge to young minds alike, currently he is a lecturer for Internet Strategic Marketing and a Doctoral Candidate in Binus Business School. He also has visited many prestigious universities and colleges as guest lecturers.
As an avid candid monochrome photographer and Haiku writer, he lives in Jakarta with his family and (the music of) Miles Davis.
