Sunil is a digital veteran who specializes in being a catalyst for client’s digital transformation.

He has 18 years of digital experience that spreads across different functions and disciplines. He’s been successful in managing three aspects of digital business – Agency side, Client side and the Tech side. He started his digital journey way back in the year 2000, with the pioneering team of MediaTurf (the first digital agency in India).

He’s headed the digital media teams of leading network agencies both in India & Indonesia which saw him manage digital campaigns of marquee clients like

  • India – LIC, McDonalds, Star TV, IDBI Bank, Emirates, Starbucks to name a few

  • Indonesia – Tourism New Zealand, Mead Johnson, BTPN Jenius, Dominos to name a few

 

Tech Experience – Digital Marketing Platform

As a principal consultant in Infosys, he was a key product lead for developing a global digital marketing platform called BrandEdge which had clients like GSK, BAT, Dentsu etc.

 

Indonesian Experience

His Indonesian experience spans across 4 years. He started his journey as Digital Head for Starcom. In these two and a half years, he established himself quite firmly in Indonesian market. He then moved on to the client side as head of the digital marketing team at Jenius (Branchless bank part of BTPN). During his stint, Jenius grew from scratch to more than 300,000 active users with a very high awareness level. He established an acquisition model that ensured the bank only pay for valid and qualitative acquisitions. Interestingly, Sunil devised a digital solution wherein, with no TV support, Jenius managed to drive high level of awareness purely through digital marketing and billboards.
