Hellen Katherina serves as the country leader of media measurement in Indonesia since 2015. In this role she oversees the entire media business, and is responsible for growing the business and maintaining good relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.


Hellen started her career at Nielsen in 2001 handling business development role where she was exposed to all Nielsen media services including TV, print, radio and Advertising Information Service. She also expanded her role to managing the client service team. After taking a short break from research world in 2009, in 2010 Hellen re-joined Nielsen to lead the home panel business until 2014, before she was promoted to lead the media business.


Hellen’s professional journey started with Indovision where she was responsible for managing relationships with all regional broadcasters, continued by moving to the digital arm of Lippo Group to set up and develop in-store TV.


A truly positive person who loves her family with three kids, Hellen earned a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Finance from Massey University, New Zealand, and Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from Nanyang Technological University Singapore (under ASEAN Postgraduate Scholarship – 2000).


With her solid education background and more than 20 years’ experience in media industry, Hellen is an expert of Indonesia media business.
