Sutanto Hartono is a dynamic business leader with a distinguished
career at the helm of prominent companies in the media,
technology, and entertainment sectors.
Currently, he is serving as the Managing Director of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), Tbk. and the CEO of Surya Citra Media (SCM), Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) and Vidio.com. Vidio is the foremost streaming OTT platform in Indonesia, boasting the highest number of subscribers and MAU in the country. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in successfully transforming Emtek Media and SCM from being the leader in the broadcasting industry to becoming a dominant force in content production, digital media platforms and social media/influencer ecosystem.
Before his current roles, Sutanto was the Country General Manager for Microsoft Indonesia, when cloud services were just launched. He has extensive media, entertainment and content industries, including a CEO position at RCTI, Managing Director for Sony Music Indonesia and Senior Vice President of Sony Music South East Asia. His career also includes a tenure as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton, Southeast Asia.
