Andrie Darusman

A seasoned professional who has over than 25 years of experience mainly in 3 industries ie. FMCG, music and banking.

Currently EVP – Communications & Daya Head of Bank BTPN.

Started his career in Unilever Indonesia in 1996 and spent almost 11 years starting from management trainee to various positions in managing brand marketing eg. Sunsilk, Clear, Pepsodent, Oral Category, Ice Cream Category as well as handling Sunsilk Brand Development in the South East Asia region.

Some achievements: made Clear the number one shampoo brand in the country, launched the first ever shampoo for hijab wearers in 2004 (Sunsilk Clean & Fresh), achieved the record high shares for both categories, Oral & Ice Cream.

Spent over 1 year in Sony Music Indonesia as Associate Marketing Director.

Since 2009 has worked in the banking industry for 3 banks, HSBC, BNI and now at Bank BTPN handling various positions eg. brand development & e-channel marketing, marketing communications for retail, segment head for affluent & premium, as well as corporate communications & empowerment platform head.

Some achievements: brought BNI brands to a new height in terms of brand health indicators, winning 2015’s Best Wealth Management Bank from Alpha Southeast Asia, winning Gold Awards 2 years in a row in Annual Global CSR Awards & Summit in 2018 & 2019, Indonesian Innovation Award 2020 in Sustainability Category for Daya.id.

He is also a member of the supervisory board of IBCWE (Indonesian Business Coalition for Women Empowerment).

Graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia and has passion for music, movies, and books.
